12/11/2009 - Pair trawling to be prohibited within Bailiwick territorial waters.(press release on states of Guernsey front page)
24/11/2009 - High water temperatures continue: The sea water surface temperature at St Peter Port was 140c on tuesday 24th November, the highest recorded for this time of year since records began in 1980.
30/11/2009 - New licence conditions sent to all Bailiwick of Guernsey license holders. Includes new condition prohibiting pair trawling within the 3 mile territorial waters of Guernsey Alderney and Sark. Also there is an extension of the trawling and netting ban within 0.5nm of the Boue Blondel between 1st November and the 30th April for the purpose of offering protection to aggregations of spawning and pre-spawning bass. 15/6/2010 - New licence condition limiting the number of dredges within the Guernsey 3 mile limit to a maximum of 4 (total number not number per side). The latest licence conditions can be downloaded from our licensing section.
