Corporate Hospitality

Picture the scene....Castle Cornet, bathed in an orange glow from the setting summer sun, its proud form jutting up from the rocks around Castle Emplacement. Within those 800-year-old walls lie a vast array of museum artifacts, exhibits and collections, all held in timeless perpetuity. Outside the Castle, immaculately trimmed grounds offer stunning views of St Peter Port and the smaller Channel Islands, whilst wartime cannon emplacements sit protectively on the outer wall of the Castle. Could you imagine holding your corporate event here?

Corporate Hospitality

If the answer is yes, then you will find that the Castle has a variety of facilities and areas that will give you an event to remember. Apart from the obvious areas outside on the extensive Castle grounds (for which a large marquee is available to hire), the Amherst Room and Hatton Gallery both offer excellent corporate event solutions.

The Amherst Room is a multifunctional room, with a maximum capacity of 70 guests, whilst the stunning Hatton Gallery can take up to 150 people, and you can be sure that your guests will enjoy the large collection of artwork displayed around the gallery, as well as the scintillating views out of the many windows.

Fort Grey, situated on the picturesque coast of Pleinmont, is an ideal setting for summer Vin d'Honneurs, with guests able to enjoy near-360 degree coastal views from the circular grassy area surrounding the prominent white tower of the Fort. If an outdoor event is what you are specifically looking for, then perhaps Vale Castle or Chateau des Marais will fit the bill. Both of these venues are more than capable of taking a large marquee within their extensive grounds, away from the bustle of Town.

The last but by no means least of the venues on offer can combine indoor and outdoor events - the Guernsey Museum and Art Gallery. Surrounded by the beautiful Candie Gardens, guests can make the most of this and the view out to sea by utilising the terrace on the bandstand of the Museum. Inside, the Frossard Theatre is a unique venue, a multipurpose room which can take up to 70 guests in a raked-seating formation, and be set-up easily for presentations and lectures should this be required. Indoor gatherings can also be held in Cafe Victoria, and the Museum Foyer and Shop, allowing you the flexibility to create the event you want.

All of the facilities on offer are available at very reasonable prices, and you will receive excellent service and support by the Department's staff, whatever your requirements. For further details including contact information, please download the Culture and Leisure Corporate Hospitality brochure from the right-hand column of this page. You will notice from this brochure that Beau Sejour Leisure Centre is also an excellent venue for corporate events - this is referred to in detail in the Leisure Services section of the website, which can be accessed via the left menu on this page.
