About the Award

The ‘Keep Guernsey Green Award’ is offered by the Environment Department of the States of Guernsey. 

The Award is for organisations that wish to publicise their commitment to the environment.  Possession of the award will demonstrate to customers, staff and business partners that the organisation:

• actively plans its energy conservation and waste management;
• raises staff awareness of the importance of environmental issues;
• seeks improved ways of managing the organisation’s energy and waste for the benefit.

The Award is given for three years after a review and assessment of the organisation’s waste management plans and practices.  Please refer to ‘Path to gaining the Keep Guernsey Green Award’ information sheet.
